وَاتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ مُصَلًّي
Translation: Take the standing-place of Ibrāhīm as a site of prayer. (2:125)
Transliteration: Wa-takidhū min maqāmi Ibrāhīma muṣallā.
Virtue: Jābir (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said: “…Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the Maqām (standing-place) of Ibrāhīm and said [the above]. He prayed two rakʿahs, placing the Maqām between him and the Kaʿbah…(In the first rakʿah) he recited Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ (and in the second rak’ah), he recited Sūrah al-Kāfirūn.” (Muslim)
