أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَظِيْمِ ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيْمِ ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيْمِ ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
Translation: I seek protection in Allah, the Supreme, His Noble Countenance, and His Eternal Authority from the accursed Shaytān.
Transliteration: Aʿūdhu bi-llāhi-l-ʿaẓīm, wa bi wajhihi-l-karīm, wa sulṭānihi-l-qadīm, mina-sh-Shayṭāni-r-rajīm.
Virtue: Haywah b. Shurayh (raḥimahullāh) narrated: “I met ‘Uqbah b. Muslim (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) and said to him: ‘It has been reported to me that someone has narrated to you from the Prophet ﷺ that when he entered the mosque, he would say [the above]. Is it only this? He replied: ‘Yes. Whoever says [the above], Shaytān says: ‘He has gained protection against me for the entire day.’” (Abū Dawūd 466)
