حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ
Translation: Allah is enough for us and He is the Best Protector.
Transliteration: Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿmal Wakīl.
Virtue: Ibn ʿAbbās (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) narrated: “[the above] was said by Ibrāhīm (‘alayhis-salām) when he was thrown into the fire; and it was said by Muhammad ﷺ when they (i.e. the hypocrites) said, “A great army is gathering against you, therefore, fear them,” but it only increased their faith and they said: “Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs, for us).” (3.173) (Bukhārī 4563)
